tmbg or k1p1?
my order of yarn from knitpicks arrived today. i ordered a lot of yarn.
i have tickets tonight to see they might be giants perform flood in its entirety at the 9:30.
i’m seriously thinking about staying home to play with the yarn.
what’s wrong with me?
update 12/3/08: welovedc has a nice review of the concert. the highlight of the second set (of the part that i stayed for, anyway) was why does the sun really shine? (the sun is a miasma of incandescent plasma), written to correct the scientific inaccuracies of why does the sun shine? (the sun is a mass of incandescent gas). S-E-X-X-Y was pretty good, too (lyrics here).

heh. g is a much bigger fan than i, and he wasn’t feeling well, so it was touch or go as to whether he’d make it out. he did… and then as we were in line to go in, his pager went off. of all the nights for a crisis on the ward… *sigh*
james & i went in, though – it was a great show. g is now perusing youtube for concert footage to ameliorate his sorrow at having missed it. poor guy.

9:30 club and TMBG… brings me back. If you or G find youtube footage, send it on or post it — I can’t imagine it being anything less than fantastic.
