the enormous new child development center on fort myer really should have solar panels on its roof. the pitch is negligible, the building has no shade, and it was completed mere months ago. and even if the return on solar panels was not considered cost-effective, there’s no reason for it to not have, at a bare minimum, environmentally-conscious architecture. the building is a great candidate for solatubes.
