isn’t acting much like a lion so far. do i tempt mother nature by (finally) grubbing leaves out of the azaleas and putting down pine fine?
this past weekend: five bags of leaves up, seven-odd bags of pine fine down. the daffs all have blossom heads, the tulips are starting to poke up, and the crocuses are in full bloom. I think we’ll put crocuses in the lawn this fall. yellow.

Huh. I guess you are quite a bit further south than us. We have no crocuses yet. At least none that I can see peaking up through the snow.
What’s pine fine? We talking some kind of mulch?

you were supposed to keep it cold until i got back. hmmmppphhh
