a matter of perspective
every now and again, i think about drawing comics. invariably, it brings up issues of perspective (visual), as i tend to lean toward the odd “camera” angles when i think about storytelling via images. in college, i would often doodle two-point perspective lines and floating platforms, but i never tried to draw anything intricate or animate.
it had been awhile since i’d thought about drawing perspective, and then dylan meconis threw this gorgeous example of 3-point perspective up on family man. gorgeous, and intimidating.
(clicking on the image will take you to the larger version at family man. it’s well worth it.)

Wow. That is gorgeous. I love the books in the foreground.
