but just to show you that kvetching about my neighbors isn’t my only pastime, i give you this: a photo of snuffy in his new baseball jersey. i knit it myself. the colors, however, you’ve gotta blame on my husband.

Actually, I know you have excellent taste in knittable colors. So yes, I’ll bite: does orange-and-lime have a special significance? (And if so, well, guess what — there’s even more yarn out there for you!!)

1. The phone line thing is so very bizarre. (By the way, what do you use to mark up your photos with arrows and stuff? It looks so cool.) and 2. Cute puppy and 3. I didn’t know you knit. (But then again, I’m not sure why I’d know…) Such an assortment of skills and talents you have.

alejna – sometimes i use photoshop (as in this one), sometimes i use omni graffle (as i did in the previous one). photoshop’s the simplest, as i use a cintiq monitor and can draw/write directly on the screen. prior to the cintiq, i had two wacom tablets that let me do the same thing.
middento, my jeffitoes – nope, no significance to the colors. i opened the bag in which i keep all my 4-weight synthetic yarn (the same type i used for xan’s blanket) and asked, “well, what colors do you want?” (i asked G, not snuffy.)
knitting tip: when knitting sleeves as separate pieces from the sweater body, you can ensure they’ll be identical if you knit them both at the same time, on the same set of needles.
