itty bitty lacy things
so i’m reading the bbc. i come across this article on the new direction a small polish town has taken with their traditional handmade lace. the article doesn’t have a link to the town or the company, but a quick google search locates it. (later i noticed the link was on the sidebar, not in the article itself.
i don’t know what i think looks better — the lingerie, or the cute polish models wearing it (or maybe i’m just intrigued by the unlikely industrial-esque setting). but i can’t help but wonder if it’s scratchy…

My guess is yes, scratchy. I have a crocheted pajama top that is practically a hazard to various parts. (Though maybe tight-fitting lace wouldn’t lead to as much friction. At least on the wearer…)

Wow– things that it wouldn’t occur to me people even *could* be scandalized by. “Our lace… makes for good lacy undergarments. Say it ain’t so!”

My vote is for the Polish models.

Funny that I’m posting on a fan service entry… ;) You should totally get a pair. Doesn’t matter if they’re itchy. You won’t be wearing them for long, no?
You might have noticed… I took my blog down because of heat from my HR dep’t. Instead of fighting it, I just decided to tell them I wouldn’t be blogging anymore. So without a literary outlet, I’ve been reduced to reviewing restaurants on Yelp.
I’ll probably be reviewing wherever I’ll end up noshing at in the burbs of Baltimore, where I’m headed off for work this Thursday. Your neck of the woods, no?
Hi from snowy Colorado.
