since when?

according to UN Wire, “Opponents of human cloning argue… that under international law, children have a right not to be a genetic replica of one parent.”

the total absurdity of that statement boggles the mind. exactly when would such a concept have occurred to anyone to be codified in international law?

Well, we can certainly hope they’re not genetic replicants of some people.

I wanted to be a genetic replica of my OTHER parent. Off with his head!

I think that, in order to truly make an informed decision regarding human cloning, we must ask ourselves: What would Cthulhu do (WWCD)?

I think Cthulhu would definitely support the whole idea of human cloning. Not because we, as humans, have an inalienable right to produce (almost) exact genetic copies of ourselves. Instead, because cloning would provide an abundant source of food for Great Cthulhu.
