the baby elephant should have had more screen time. really. i’m not sure why it took the two elephants walking into the jungle a decade to have a baby, but after all that effort it should’ve been on more.

because either there wasn’t a story (and when there isn’t a story, you should at least have baby elephants), or crucial elements — like the thai cop’s girlfriend — were left on the cutting room floor. or maybe the theater was missing a reel.

because it’s hard to believe that the protector sucks as hard as ong bak rocked.

uff. tony jaa needs a new agent. comparing the two movies, you’d think the protector had been filmed before ong bak, but imdb says otherwise.

*grumble* an hour and a half of my life i’ll never get back. at least it had one of the best capoeira fight scenes i’ve seen in a movie.
