these photos are a bit of a mystery… trying to find the housing complex i lived in during the late 70s. from walking around, yeoido seems to be a bustling financial and building center. inwangsa temple, on the other hand, is a temple complex situated behind a condemned housing development (soon to be knocked down and replaced with huge apartment buildings); directions to get there consisted of “take subway #3 to dongnimmun, exit 2; walk to temple.” and, naturally, the temple wasn’t on any maps or signs once we got there. oh, well. photos here.
