exams are on the horizon. so, of course, after getting home from law and measures against international terrorism, i put the chipper/shredder together and got to work grinding up the drifts of leaves that have accumulated in the yard. of course, me being me, i spent the first half hour or so (after the hour it took me to put the damn thing together… you’d think the people that write instruction manuals would have the sense to take photos actually showing the entire damn thing put together) testing the tolerances of the thing and tripping the circuit override. it works well enough; jams a bit too easily and doesn’t like wet branches so much. it’s heavy for me, but then, hey, i’m a skinny little chit of a thing. and it’s decent for working out some grumpiness.
