I didn’t think the phrase “God’s Rottweiler” was too flattering, but I had to laugh when I first heard “Panzer Cardinal” (the image of a Red Hat driving a WWII tank, treads crushing liberal Catholics and homosexuals alike, popped into my head).
Was the Anglican Church leaving the Roman Catholic Church the last secession? Contributing $100-million a year, if the American Catholic Church seceeded, the Vatican treasury would certainly get the message even if the Holy See didn’t.
