harper’s ferry
on sunday, james and i drove out to harper’s ferry (okay, james drove, i was the semisomnolent passenger. it’s amazing how i fall asleep in moving vehicles). it was a beautiful day, but very windy.
anyhoo, here are some pix i snapped – the wide angle shots were taken with my new tamron lens.

i really like the rusty post one — good composition. never been much of a fan of macro lenses though, b/c of the distortion.
my analog canon (with its wonderful 50/1.8) is collecting dust, crying in a dark corner, but that’s another expensive hobby i don’t need to start up again…
